• Senior journalist and NDTV anchor Ravish Kumar have made his statement on the arrest of the Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami.
• Ravish Kumar stated that the abetment to suicide is a serious matter, but the mere name is not enough, it should be investigated.
• Ravish also stated that the probe should be done according to the procedure and uncertain arrest in this way raises suspicion in an old case.
• Ravish further added that even law experts believe that this way arrest in cases of abetment to suicide does not happen.
• Arnab and two others have been accused of forcing interior designer Anvay Naik and his mother to commit suicide in 2018.
